Murdoch Webster is proud to announce that we are now a Network Partner with the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), the Australian government lead agency for Cyber Security.
This partnership will enable us to engage with ACSC and fellow partners, drawing on their collective understanding, technical expertise and capability to lift cyber resilience.
Being a partner allows us to be at the forefront of any alerts and advisories for our clients. This allows us to access a wide range of technical information and mitigation strategies.

The unfolding of the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed how the spread of misinformation, intensified on all digital platforms, is proving to be as much a threat to the public health as the virus itself. Advancements in technology have created incredible methods to keep people informed and connected, however, the same digital tools have enabled and amplified the security issues in tow with them.
February 8, 2022 marks the important global initiative ‘Safer Internet Day’ which aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns. From Cyberbullying to social engineering and digital identity theft, the world of online technology is a dangerous place.
Whilst children often know a lot about social media and the internet, it’s important to remember that they’re still learning how to navigate their way around their emotions. Children need regular support and guidance from their parents, carers, and teachers to help them stay safe on all online platforms.
Social media is at the forefront of many parents’ concerns due to the dangers that are frequently reported. That’s why, with teens spending more time connecting online, we want to help teachers and caregivers better understand the security features, so they have informed conversations with their children or students.
Whether you are a parent or carer, a teacher, or an educator, or whether you represent an organisation, everyone has a role to play in creating and maintaining a better online world.
Murdoch Webster is here to help. We will help you determine what it is required for your organisation or Industry, how to proactively prepare & only focus on actions that are required to implement. Securing your protection in the digital world is important all year round, not just on Safer Internet Day.

We are very excited for our brilliant Account Executive, Leanne Taylor to host our first Regional Roadshow in Geelong for the Year of 2022!
We are looking forward to reconnecting and updating the discussion around what security in the new hybrid workplace looks like.

As we are now increasingly dependant on digital tools to help us through life, we must review what we publicly share and whom with. January 28th marks a day of encouraging dialogue and creating awareness of privacy and data protection.
